I will be careful but I am so tired of taking man made prescriptions that cause other side effects that you need more man made stuff to help the side effects. If I can take one God made crumbled up fossilized algae and have no side effects and be healthy than that is for me.

I need to continue my research.... for sure. I was hoping that I would also hear from some BYC peeps who are taking it. I promise to be careful. Thanks

Just don't breathe it in. Someone posted about how they dropped some and breathed it in and had all kinds of problems.

OMG. The first time I put it in with the girls I mixed it with some sand. Of course being the "new" thing in the tractor they had to try to eat it which meant that their beaks went down into it real easily.

I then had 8 chickens running around looking like they had a cocaine addiction.

So whats DE supposed to do for you and your animals when you put it in your food?? I thought it was ineffective when it got wet?? Not sure if thats true though??
I know that it dosent kill ants..

I just ordered some for the chicks, house and yard and plan on trying it myself too... after more reading too. I'd like to know if you come up with any other links for uses on people.

I am taking the same one I give my chickens but it has Calcium bentonite in it and I do not need too much of that in my diet. From what I understand that is a clay that is also used to detox your systim. It is good for you but too much calcium. While I am awaiting the order of the white fine DE without Calcium bentonite, I will continue to take one tablespoon a day in a half glass of juice every morning. It has increased my energy in the morning, but I have also noticed that I am really tired in the evenings but I am sleeping all night..... I am sold
