Dead or alive... I can’t tell

On days 1-25 you should have them turning constantly, and then days 25-28 are called lockdown, where you don't open the incubator at all anymore until they hatch, and you don't turn them either

Yes.
The good news is that those pics are of her first 4... took multiple pics. I have another 4 in another incubator and 2 more in my kitchen at room temp waiting to go in incubator together at same time. She keeps laying.

Off topic. .. these 4 ducks free roam by my back pond. I brought them in a few nights but they won’t come in anymore. I have already lost 2. My Welsh is the last female. We have black bear. Large turtles. Afraid to lose another duck. Was going to buy large dog kennel but tractor supply says bear will get thru. Anyone else leave their ducks out?

Ok that's good. On a side note do you know how to check fertility by cracking it open?

Aw I am so sorry to hear that :hugs. I would lock them up at night, and/or give them a nice, secure run. Are they fenced in at all?

Fence on either side. Run as in a chance or area to get away? Bears literally swim over to my back yard at times but they do have time to notice and run/swim

Oh, my bad...a run is a enclosed area, in a sense that it has chicken wire or hardware cloth all around the framing, but still outside, attached to the coop. It gives them room to exercise but still be protected from predators

The bears around here would tear that to pieces
