Dead or alive... I can’t tell

No. Why am I doing this? 😊
If this whole set so far has been fertile, it is possible that eventually your welsh could begin a nest and go broody. To check fertility, crack open an egg, and look anywhere on the yolk for a small white dot with a circle around it - that is called a blastoderm, and it means the egg is fertile and can be incubated. If you see just a plain white dot on the yolk, and no circle around it, that is called a blastodisc, and it means it is not fertile, and cannot be incubated. It's a quick and easy way to see if a clutch of eggs, or just one egg, is fertile.

I feel horrible. When they sleep on my property they stay in middle of my grass bunched together. I would gladly put them up but the last time I tried 2 went in cage and 2 didn’t. I had a mated pair get separated and after that they freaked. Just now gaining some trust back.

The bears around here would tear that to pieces
If they would, another option that would most definitely work would be investing in a roll of poultry netting. Its an all inclusive fence that is also electric, giving a shock enough to scare away even bears. Poultry knows not to get near it, and even if they do, it doesn't electrocute them. You can let them free range inside that fence.

I will research... thanks. I’ll try and stay on topic now. 😜. Dealing with a few things here. Enjoying my Welsh.

Aww you've got beautiful ducks! I love Welsh Harlequins...they're my favorite breeds, and it looks like you have a Cayuga in there, too!
Thank you! They are awesome. He’s a Rouen. So at tractor supply it comes pulls up a 8x 8 strong steel kennel but it doesn’t mention electrical fence.... I guess it’s separate. Much more expensive? So it wouldn’t hurt the ducks?
