dead stuff on my porch again

haha...this is hilarious! i had a cat (who just went missing last week btw) who even brought home a live snake once!! she must have been out of her mind. she also likes to bring: birds, moles, rabbits, squirrels, groundhogs, etc. One day I was pulling into the drive way and I saw this thing on the side of the road that looked just like my kitty!! I freaked and thought she had been hit, but when I got out to check it was a big old rabbit head. yes, the head! nothing else!

so, if we go fishing should we bring her back some fish heads and put them on the porch? Would she think we have finally learned to hunt ourselves?

We could even sing the song for her

fish heads fish heads .. rolly polly fish heads.. fish heads fish heads... eat them up ... YUM

my cat Shay (RIP) used to like to bring live goodies home.

one time he brought home a kitten

.

he hadn't hurt it, it was one of the neighborhood cats, whom he had mated with, kittens.

he brought it to the porch and sat with it under him, poor little thing was maybe all of a week old, when I finally came out, he starts talking and talking like "look daddy! lookie what I made!"

I promptly returned the kitten to it's momma LOL

I walked into the bedroom one day to find an entire dead rat laying in my bed - ON MY SIDE!!! EEEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

Also, woke in the middle of the night to a growling noise - I just thought it was the dog growling at the cat. Nope, the cat brought a baby rabbit in and was growling at the dog. I woke up DBF to get the rabbit out of the room (god bless him) it was so funny - he stuck socks over his hands to pick it up - and the cat was just a fussing at his for taking his treasure away from him. Just a sight - Grown man with tube socks up to his elbows - carrying something and the cat following close behind just a fussing & cussing.

I think they are either saying "I love you, I brought you breakfast"
OR
"I fixed this critters butt and I will fix yours too, if you don't let me out when I want!!!"
