Dealing with an aggressive chick

I was already thinking about a tiny skewer and an open flame. Just hung an old set of keys from a string, attached it to the infrared light. They immediately seemed interested. Pecking at the keys and the loose string hanging down. I will go look at breeds, try to figure out what we got. Thanks for the suggestions.

Well, looking at pictures, they look exactly like barred rocks and nothing like the black and white australorps. I figured out how to post a picture so will be back with one. Will try to get a better pic of the blackies.

Here are the 3 black ones, they like to hang together and the tan/gold ones are now hanging on the other side near the water trough. Out of 24 eggs we got 5 tan/gold ones and 3 black ones.

I had some banty chicks last year and one tried to peck all of her mates eyes constantly at 2 days old. I tried everything, and finally put her in a shoebox inside the brooder where she still stayed warm with food and water, but she couldn't get to the others. Twelve hours later she came out and never did it again. The barred rock on the left looks more like a male.
