Dealing with guilt of having a sick chicken

I’m a first-time chicken owner and I have my first sick hen. This experience feels so overwhelming and I feel so guilty for not educating myself better illnesses and injuries.I should’ve brought by her in the moment I saw things getting weird… but for some reason, I didn’t. I can’t help but recall every single time before when I’ve accidentally done something to either hurt or agitate my babies, and it’s driving me insane. I feel so guilty and just like a horrible chicken mother.
Also struggling with the questions of: “Will she get better?” “Will she have permanent issues after this?” “How will her flock accept her?” “Will she have to be miserable her whole life?”

Maybe I’m just being dramatic, but I just can’t help but feel so guilty and like I let my ladies down. I don’t ever wanna make mistakes with them because they didn’t do anything to deserve it. Anyone else feel like this?

I haven’t experienced a sick chicken yet but I’m sure I will feel that way. When our chickens are like pets you feel the same way you would if the family dog/cat got sick.
