Redtailgal, You are so right about the enormous amount of information and how-to's here. Even I get disgruntled when I can't find the directions, I can only imagine how others feel, esp if they're not computer savvy.

And alot of replies to people looking for direction is something like "go here and go there, and click on this.........." -can be frustrating.

Maybe volunteers, as yourself could be available in plain site, to reply to a member with the LINK to the actual set of directions they need. All the answers are on this site, some in triplicate, it would be so nice to just ask a designated someone, and get a direct link to what they need, not directions on how to get there.

Sounds good to me. It just means going through and perhaps creating a folder on your browser with links to all the answers.. after finding them and being sure we all have the same ones, so we're not posting different things and people get confused.

And I suppose it means no more hiding and pretending I'm offline... x]

Device: Computer/smart phone/etc Connection: Dial-up/DSL/Cable/etc. OS Browser Editor: BBCode/RTF One of the reasons I gave up on Emergencies/Diseases/Cures was lack of pertinent dx info. up front (read the sticky!!!). Those who have time can peruse the FAQ's & Q/A's on other sites ported to Huddler (some of same issues and solutions/workarounds): http://www.huddler.com/ If anyone has a question on strange messages appearing when attempting to replace photos, just let `em know it isn't some bizarre malediction but, rather, an old-time ig-pay atin-lay typesetter's placeholder (no picture where you attempted to find it...). Actually, IIRC, this transition has been much smoother than the previous port....
