Deathlayer gender

10 weeks old. Hen or Roo? It has almost no comb. But the tail feathers have me thrown.

Yours is a pullet! I will also say… my Deathlayer was NUTS. I wouldn’t get the breed again but they’re beautiful. The flightiest chicken I have ever had, hands down

She's wild. And the noise she makes doesn't even sound like a chicken. It's like a feral bird call. Strange creature. Lol

We just got 6 Deathlayers last night. Hatched the day before last night. I'm watching and waiting to see what differences emerge. I read the girls have almost zero comb, but it's way too early. They claim it doesn't take very long, after hatch, to know.

I only had one hatch and I was lucky it was a hen. She has no comb really. Kinda just a red dot. I'm liking her more everyday. But she is very odd and wild like

Sweet! Yeah, I check behinds and love on them some every day. I have daddy out with the flock and two cockerels that are his boys in a smaller run/coop. I hope there are no boys in these Deathlayers. I have one, too many, as it is.
