I'm wondering about him though. He's smaller, weaker, and cries a lot whereas the others are all acting normal and happy. Where the yolk went in is bulging so I gave him a warm bath and blow-dried him, and he fell asleep during that at least.

I relate to the smaller and weaker chicks this morning. I need to go out and check to see how the 7 week olds fared in the great outdoors for the first time last night. I'm so anxious for them to grow up and start families.

Still nothing as far as pips go.

I guess I'll give them until tomorrow afternoon and then candle them as I have Tinks and the 2nd batch of paints (6) due 3/13 and should be in lockdown right now. Being one day late isn't too unusual so I'm not losing all hope though.

Those paints are the ones who had a rough ship right? I hope they are just taking their time and some hatch for you.

Yes, that was the first box that was in the Bermuda Triangle for two days, lost on tracking.

I just started to candle so I can lock the others down and one of those paints wiggled. It scared me so I set them all back in there, pulled the racks on yours and the next 6 paint, and locked 'er down.

He just died an hour or so ago. That's the first chick I ever hatched that didn't make it. I guess it wasn't right for some reason.
