He just died an hour or so ago. That's the first chick I ever hatched that didn't make it. I guess it wasn't right for some reason.

The lady just came for the remaining gorgeous chicks. She's been here once before or I don't usually sell them so fast, more like 3 days old or so. Crazy woman drives 3 hours to get here from Milwaukee. Bizarre she likes these but can't find any closer to her. She saw those cuckoos out in the yard in their pet pen.

If she's willing to drive a fair ways to get them, I think they must be going to a good home.

I'm so sorry you lost the little chick Debbie, that is never easy. If there was any chance it would have pulled through, I know it would have under your care.

Not a creature is stirring. Not even a pip do I see.

Tinks and the other paints aren't due until the 13th, but whatever is up with those 6 paints due two days ago. I must've been seeing things to see one moving yesterday. I have a horrible cold so maybe I was hallucinating? It actually startled me as I wasn't expecting it, but it obviously was just moving a dead chick around I suppose.

In a little while I'll pull them back out and try candling them again as I'd like to toss them if they're bad. I'll be having little dinosaurs crawling all over them soon and that could be gross!

Unhatched sounds a little like undead...undead zombie chicks. Ooh. Don't start hallucinating about zombie chickens! Sorry, Debbie, I hope I didn't instigate hallucinations.
