Happy Holidays everyone!

Here are new pics and info on how Turkey Burger is doing.
It has been about 2 months now since I took TB in and have been nursing the severe injuries.
At this point I believe that TB is a Jake.
Im not sure how the loss of his snood is going to affect him later in life, but it appears that he is getting stronger and healing better and better each day.
He has grown quite a bit and I have had to change cages a couple times already.
I have other recent pics but these are from yesterday's bandage change.

I do not know what your basis is for thinking that hen is a tom but it is not a tom. The loss of the snood will not have any effect.

My basis is only simple things within themselves. However when added up it just seems odd to hold faith that TB is in fact a hen. For example.
1. I think that I have seen and felt the presence of spur buds.
2. I have on more than one or even two ocassions heard TB gobble
3. TB's head is constantly changing color.
4. Breast feathers appear to be black tipped.
5. When encountering a curious cat TB puffed up and raised his/her tail in a fan.
6. It appears that carnukles are beginning to form on his/her neck.

Turkey Burger is a domestic cross breed mix of a Bourban Red and a Bronze turkey.
Approximately between 5-6 months old

Any one of these things above can occur as an anomaly in a turkey hen. But to have ALL of these things it just seems unlikely, even when observing this birds coloring.

However I am not an expert. This is my first encounter nursing a turkey. I only know what I have observed and what I have studied on these birds.
If you are an expert I welcome help identifying and clarifying any other conclusions that can prove otherwise.

Oh Turkey Burger! You lucky thing!

My vote is hen too, my bronze boys are 4months and they are far more developed in terms of snood, carnicles etc. My bronze hen, also 4months, looks just a like Turkey burger.

But I am no expert either. These are my first turkeys.

I woukd be quite happy if Turkey turns out to be a hen. :)
Id love to see your bronze hen can you upload pics?

For those who havnt seen the original pics of Turkey Burger I am attaching here day 1 pics as well as a few days after and about a month into progression when we necame fully amazed at this birds will to survive. TB shouldnt have made it without the attention of a vet.
Unfortunately Id bet that the pics will not upload in order and it just takes too long to do one at a time.
Here are pics from the day I saved TB from death at the beaks of flock members
