December/Christmas gift swap

Not new to BYC or swaps but new to this one. What kind of gifts are we swapping? Just one gift per person or several small ones? Any certain theme?
Would like to join but want to make sure I get it right first so I don't mess it up.

Also love the rule bout not getting anything till you send your own. Got cheated in a few swaps last year cuz new people joined then were never heard from again once they got their gifts.
