Of course! Welcome! 🥰 Mine are due the 4th. What are you hatching?
Good morning I have 9 EE, 2 Barred Rock, and 5 speckled sussex eggs that I set, although I have to admit the roo for all of them I am going to assume will be my EE who's name is Fabio we just hatched some and it seemed he was the dad to those eggs and I got a beautiful baby from the speckled sussex egg here is Fabio and the baby from the speckled sussex egg none of my ee eggs hatched so hopefully this time they will :fl

They are so pretty! I read that also about calls. My DIL wants to get those or Pekins, I’m trying to talk her out of the Pekins but she wants me to hatch for her. I’m nervous about that! Especially shipped eggs.
I have pekins and absolutely love them if coarse they are only babys now

Fabio is gorgeous! Great name for him. His chick is cute, how is it feathering out? Interesting color! 😊

We were very surprised honestly to see a chick from him we figured all chicks would come from my other roo thats a speckled sussex but we got lucky...his chick is only about a week so I will definitely keep you updated with pictures as it grows

So I added two more eggs this morning. 14 total. Honestly could not have been fresher, they were still warm when I placed them in the incubator!
I have 4 ameraucana, 5 redsexlink/leghorn cross and 5 ameraucana/BCM cross (olive egger) eggs cooking! All with silkie roo. Only the olive egger is a mature hen, the other two are pullets and fairly new layers. I have read mixed results with "pullet" eggs, we will see if they do anything! Planning to candle day 5 for signs of development. ☺
