No hatching this time? Although it has been quite some time since you’ve not had birds in your house hasn’t it?
It has! My calls aren’t laying and I don’t really want to hatch quails so I think I’ll have to sit this one out! Unless my calls start laying lol.
How do you like having ducks? I have a couple eggs in my incubator now due around Thanksgiving but I’ll be setting another dozen for this HAL.
I absolutely love my ducks! The only breed I’ve had and didn’t like was runners... but only because I got them as adults and they were really skittish. But it wasn’t their fault. I loved my Campbell’s, which derived from runners. But now I just keep calls.
I’ve heard that about Runners which is what I’m hatching of course. I’ll be sure to spend a lot of time with them to prevent that.
