3 days until I can start candling. The worst part is the first 8 days, you can only look at it and not really do anything unless you have to make heat/humidity adjustments.

Yeah I know what you mean I have 10 more supposed to hatch the 5th or 6th of December and then 5 others on the 10th

One little one has scissor beak and an eye that protrudes out farther than I think it should that’s that’s the problem with people just breeding birds willy nilly not caring about the outcome of their pairings

@Matieus27 Do you happen to know what breed that deformed chick is? I've heard that some EE's have been born with the cross breaks and that it could be hereditary.

Staggered hatches weekly. First one due the 8th. Last one will be Christmas.

Mostly Australorp and Hamburg but we do have some Silkie and Serama from shipped eggs.
