Woke up this morning to cheeping in the incubator. 1 bantam faverolle and 2 splash, 1 black, 1 white on the silkies out so far. About 2 dozen more eggs still left due today.

Candled some due in the following weeks and had to throw alot of eggs. Clears, partially developed and quit, etc. I'm dealing with alot of younger birds this year along with freezing temps. Gotta keep my fingers crossed for just about anything right now.

2 pips 1 rocking and some chirping from my duck eggs. I wish they would hurry!

Did my afternoon check and more out of the shell. 1 faverolle. On the silkies: 2 black, 1 blue, 4 splash, 2 white, and 1 buff. 1 of the black probably won't make it. His head is tucked between his legs and he scoots around on his rear end like he can't figure out how to work his legs. 21 more eggs left in this batch.

So far, one partridge out...no other pips for some reason, but my temps ran a little low a few times, so I'm hopeful for the rest being monday babies.

Candled the eggs again tonight. looks like 5 are developing out of 9 and we threw out an orloff egg. We cracked it open and didnt see anything going on with it. There are two other eggs that don't seem to be doing anything, but we will leave them in just a few more days and see if anything happens.

Tomorrow I go into lock down, getting more excited now. Gonna have a hard time at work this week thinking about the babies in the bator.
