December Hatch:Who is going to have Christmas babies?

Have some pics from my first hatch now. Still one more splash silkie egg that has pipped, but not hatched yet. Tally for this hatch out of about 5 dozen eggs: 4 bantam faverolles, silkies: 6 black, 1 blue, 4 splash, 2 white, 1 buff.

BTW the silkie chicks are sooooooooo cute!!!!

Here's mine. They started hatching early this morning and just finished. There are 2 still wet as you can tell. I'll post better ones when they are all dry. The one in the far back left side isn't a silkie but a mix but the others are silkies. That other one is the one that was laid by a white polish/silkie mix and the roo is the same as the others was a black lavender split

My next lock down date is the 11th. There are only 3 that made it this far. I usually set anywhere from 12 to 16 at a time. Fertility isn't what I would like it to be but at least I'm getting some. I don't need too many to have to live in the house till they are feathered.

The little gold or buff colored one, I don't know which hen it came from. The roo is a black lavender split and my hens are white, black, blue and partridge. I don't think it's partridge because I think I have all hers marked. Besides the other's besides one of the black ones are hers with the same roo. There is a black one that came from a white polish/silkie mix and she has recessive black. I suppose thats why it turned out black.

What color is the light colored one? My silkies came from somebody that separates their birds in pens by color so I don't suppose it's from the roo. He came from a lavender split pen and he is mostly black. Well here he is. He fathered all these chicks.
