So this is our first batch ever of hatching eggs and we started them midday so we are just about at the beginning of day 20 could we start to hear peeping soon? Getting anxious!!

I got my hatch cam set up and ready . Let me know if it dosnt work. Only three buttons pipped atm so there may not be anything fun any time soon but you never know.

I didn't hear any peeping until my fuzzy butts had broke through the shell

An old trick - make some "mother hen" noises near the eggs - the chicks will cheep back at you.

Ok friday is lockdown day 18. I do not measure humidity. I keep a small glass bowl like a custard dish in the bottom with broken pottery pieces in there. At lock down should I add another dish with water or a wet dish rag? Any suggestions? And do I raise temp also?

Beginning day 21 all 14 eggs bbs orp in lock but only about 4 or 5 had veins at day 17. ans a few iffys
I take my chances on a blow up or chick i might have missed.lol
One has hatched a little splash and have one star crack.Whooohoo!
