Can't wait to see the buff chicks ..
Hereare mine, are Bantam cochins that I bought, that are about a week old. The other 6 are the RIR crosses that I just hatched out

Going into lockdown tomorrow.Due Dec 29th.
Got a really nice flashlight 200 lumens Xmas to candle my brown eggs Did so today,
First time in 11 hatches i ever saw them move ,2 bum candlers
Think i may have 4 or 5 alive and a few iffys
Suprised at that b/ c were 7 days in the mail
.Didnt expect one.BBS Orps
Funny thing i order the same thinking these wouldnt hatch at all..Now looks like i will get some anyway

My three black sex link/barred rock babies hatched today. All are doing ok, not walking very good yet but are getting there.
100 % hatch for my very first time. I'll be trying more in April when there is less chance of power outages and it is warmer. Our house isn't airtight, was hard keeping temps up.

I'm sorry, but atleast you got 100% hatch out . Congrats!

LUCKY! I have bad chances it the shipping eggs , but gratefully 3 are growing and will go on lockdown on the 31

At 21 days exact, there was a pip last night... woke up this morning to 2 more.... how long after the pip should they start working their way out?

I had a few last hatch that took over a day to hatch after pipping. It's hard to be patient!

I just heard a peep from one of the eggs!! No pips yet that I can see... Tonight is the start of day 21.

2 hatched so far... 1 pipped and started zipping... my sweet wife didnt get to watch the first 2 hatch... but we got her video of it...

Yeah it takes up to 24 hours for them to hatch. Good luck, always so fun to watch them hatch

So CUTE!!!! I can't wait till my 3 bantam eggs go on lock down, wich is on the 31st
