Deep groove on crested cream pegboard pullet chest

Hello all! About 3 weeks ago I purchased 2 created cream leg bar pullets. Today I noticed how deep the groove is at their crop. They seem to be acting fine, other than landing due to the heat. They are drinking and eating. Is this normal? They are about 12 weeks.

They sure are pretty! I've always wanted to raise that breed but no room right now.
