I have to keep my birds confined now after some angry neighbors. If my chickens even set one foot on their yard they would have a heart attack. So I have to keep them fenced up. I was think about deer netting.

I like the 3rd post at the following link:

What are cable ties? How much deer netting should I get for 7 chickens? I was thinking 200 sq ft. Is that not enough?
I only have a Home Depot about an hours drive and Tractor's Supply 15 minute drive. Do you think I could pick it up their?
Has deer netting worked for you and what was the pro's and con's? How much is this roughly going to cost me? I don't want to spend more that $150 for the whole job.

I got my deer netting at lowes. I think it was a 100 foot roll. It was $13 Cable ties are often called zip ties. The plastic pieces that have a sorta lock on one end. You feen the small end through the lock and just 'zip' it closed. They're cheap enough that you just cut them off when you need to move them.
