i have a 9 week old blue silkie that i think is a roo. i will be going to deerfield. wondering if anyone is interested in a swap. i would like a chick around the same age or around 4 weeks old. i have a pen of each age. would take a different color silkie. i don't have buff or red yet. i also like polish,frizzle,and sizzle. i am looking for a pullet if the chick is not a silkie. if you have anything interesting let me know.

i would be interested in taking a look at your blue silkie roo, i just sold my 4wk old buff silkie, but sexing isnt easy on these. if i like him i would buy him.

I'm just curious, if I am "giving away" a couple of roosters, do they need to be tested. how much is that and how quick can i have it done before the swap. I have 5 roos and i need to give a few to good home or someone else's kitchen table and pretend like i didn't betray them. I think 2 are sexlink or nhred mix, and one is bantum blue cochin nhred mix. i even have 2 rir if i need to give one of those gorgeous boys up to keep another i will. Anyone interested? they are now 6-7 months and get along at this point.

if i am not mistaken i believe that if they are under a certain age they do not need testing. let me check for you
