Grace sighed with relief. She crept away unnoticed, and, once behind the safety of the closed door of her bedchamber, she changed into proper dinner attire. She decided to practice playing her violin in the time she had before dinner would be ready. At least, she thought, she could not get into trouble doing that. She closed her eyes and swayed to the music, losing herself in it, not noticing her surroundings.
