Question: Can they move their wings fully?

Also where did you get them? Was it a hatchery, backyard breeder, or rescue?

A breeder and trader. We could not leave them there like that. No weight. They are very timid and want nothing to do with us as of right now. I know over time they will come around. And yes they can fully move their wings.

They kinda look like my BBW turkey we think had a stroke or 2. Not saying that's what's wrong, but they do look similar in the pictures

Interesting. May be ... we have no idea how old they are. However with it being two of them I am guessing genetics at this point because no one has ever really seen this before including vets.

Sometimes a gosling or two in a clutch does this, but not to this extent. It's almost like their feathers grow in too quickly and some of them just can't quite manage to keep them pulled up. Have you had the opportunity to actually lay your hands on them. Stretch the wings and see what they do? Do they run and flap them when they are excited? Or do they just hang limply?

They use them as normal. Run and flap them and spread them out. That is why this is so odd.

This is a tough one, I’d say go to a vet but there aren’t a lot of exotic vets that are very knowledgeable about geese around it seems “at least that’s what I’ve expierienced,” so you could go to a veterinary university, or at least try to contact one.

I don’t know if they’ll be much help without examining your geese but maybe you could try and see if they’d be willing to share any information.
