Well that explains it! Yes, your girl is gold, which explains the yellowy stuff. Blues and splashes on a gold base (and whites too) get a yellowy cast.
so wait could you please re-explain that to me like what she probably got from each parent and how to describe her? i’m new to all the chicken stuff but i love learning about the genetics

She molted my favorite feather on her and I found it before she ate it and it's probably one of my most prized possessions now. I was waiting for this moment for so long.

Girlfriend wasn't letting me get a decent picture of her ear color but a handful of food got her attention long enough.

Her comb and waddles seem like they doubled in the last week and she's doing the hen yell. Both her parents breeds don't typically go broody and I can just tell she's already pissed off about having to lay eggs LOL.
