So I’m pretty new to raising baby chicks. I have two sets of silkie bantams. 6 that are roughly 5-6 weeks old and 3 that are around 3 weeks.
They’re separated for now because of the age and size difference. My three younger chicks started at pretty equal sizes and now two of them have doubled in size and are starting to feather out and one hasn’t grown much and is still pretty much fluff. As far as I’ve seen there aren’t any issues with bullying and the little one not being able to get enough food ... (literally will find him/her sleeping in the food bowl.) Is there anything that could be causing the delay in development that I could do to help the little one? Including pics of when I first got them until now.

Welcome to BYC!! Did you order them already sexed or straight run? The size difference could be that you have 2 cockerels and one pullet. Either way, they are cute as can be! Enjoy them!
Thanks for joining our flock!
They were not sexed so that definitely could be the case, like you said either way they are adorable. Thanks so much!
