Delicate question, not sure exactly how to ask this....

Oh my, Gritty! Sometimes they can actually get the job done and sometimes bobbieschicks is right on the money. Ever seen a rooster fall in love with a plastic water jug?

I do know that I had a roo leaving wet spots all over the hen's back until he learned how to find the right spot.

I have not seen any frustration on the countenance of the bantam roosters in my flock after they've ...... Spilled some ink...... In fact, they are perfectly happy with their performance. And the gals still fluff up after the dismount, to get rid of that "bed feathers" look.

Honest question-- good for you asking gritsar!
Reminds me of the time my ex's dear old aunt asked me about the roo's organ. She figured I'd know, being the farmer. I had to ask my prim and proper mom because I didn't have a clue! Mom had butchered many a roo and filled me in on the details. Learn something every day!

I have two full grown cats and my male can't manage to insert tab A into slot B. We wanted one litter of kittens then we were fixing them both. It's been a year now and our male still can't complete the task. Trust me I've seen him try he's stupid or something.

Great question as our 14 wk old EE roo has been attempting to complete the deed with year old Brahmas and 17 wk old Welsummers & Dominiques.

After being thwarted by two hens yesterday he took it out on a small pumpkin. Unfortunately the pumpkin won.
