Delicate question, not sure exactly how to ask this....

I wouldn't recommend letting him try.

Yes, but he could hurt the tiny girl. I caught my full size orp doing the deed with a mille fleur d'uccle girl. All I could see was a REALLY grumpy little face poking out from his chest feathers. She was not amused. I seperated my full size boys from the banties at that point.

And that would be why elephants are scared of mice?

Of course they are. Danged mice just leave them as elephants in trouble. They never call, they never write...

This thread is so awesome! LOL! Hahaha! And though Ive never hatched any of my chicken eggs (none of my girls ever went broody) Everytime I get a banty they seem to end up Roos LOL (Hopefully this isnt true about my silkies

) But I can say neither of my Roos seem dissatisfied with themselves and their full grown girlies. They think they are studs with such voluptuous babes to look after

And the hens dont seem to mind. Matter of fact my RIR Hen wont let any of the new hens get anywhere near her DH. She's a jealous pot over her tiny little man (RIR Banty). (Size difference 2.1 pounds to 4.7 pounds) (FYI he also had a fling with a full grown Peking duck when I had her - Duck didnt mind I think she thought she was a Chuck - or duckin LOL)
