    Soon i shall be in a position to grow some chickens and I have been doing all the reading I can.
    Send me a link where I can purchase your favorite magazine or book on chickens and poultry raising. Thanks and I hope to gain some new friends (chickens) and new friends (people)!!:frow

    Glad you're here Dennis!

    If you haven't yet, please make your chickens a FIRST AID KIT for any issues that would arise.
    It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

    Also, make sure when you get your coop(s), to have a proper amount of VENTILATION. Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it! :D

    I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

    Personally, I have found the Topic of the Week articles a great resource and a one stop shop for questions which may have already been discussed within the BYC membership group.
