When locking down last night I found this on one of the JG eggs. I have no idea what I did, how it got there, or how long it's been there. I do know it wasn't there when I candled on day 14, so it can only be four days old at the most. I looked at it as closely as possible without making it worse, and it doesn't look like the membrane is broken. Do you think this egg has any chance of hatching? Will it most likely be totally shrink-wrapped? This is my only JG egg, and I sure would like for it to hatch.

The dent is approx 1/2" across:

What do you think? Thanks...

I've had eggs like that to hatch under my pigeons. I'd wait and see. You might candle it to see how big the aircell is and compare it to the aircell in another egg

I'd leave it if it was done on or around day 14. There is always a chance!!! If the membrane isn't broken the only concern would be drying out and bacteria entry, but if you had a clean bator I'd think it still has a chance. I hope it hatches for you!!!! Have you candled it?
