To heck with one cookie, I mowed through a plate of homemade cookies that my wonderful neighbors baked in something like three hours, just me. My husband just shook his head. no cookie is safe with me..Merry late christmas everyone.

ahhhh Diva, leave it to you to make a moment good.... I made about 112 dozen cookies for about 25 plates this year to hand out to everyone I know. Too bad I only handed out 20!!!! ooooppppssss.... speaking of open box is an empty box....

It sounds like you are all having a suitably "Derpy" Christmas! I hope fud lady, Derp and friends have all had a good time too.

My girls got a wonderful treat for Christmas - mini hotdog sausages. I wish I'd filmed it - I've never seen anything like it. Each one stood and waited her turn to be given a hotdog, then headed off to a different corner of the garden to eat it. No fighting for the hotdogs, no snatching of bits from under someone else's beak - they came back to me one by one to ask for a second helping, instead of trying to sneak a bit of someone else's!

Talk about the Christmas spirit!

It hasn't lasted though - they all fought each other off like mad things to get to the sunflower seeds I gave them this morning
