Dear sweet Coho has been in the house for about a week now. Every year, when she molts, she goes off of food.
I don't know why, and it sets her up for a dangerous situation: very underweight, missing feathers, and it's COLD outside (it was 15°F when I got up today, and colder temps are on the way). She also gets VERY meek right now and won't go near any of the other chickens except for her best friend, Chickadee. Even though I have three feeders to help 'dither' any squabbles, rarely did Coho eat even when she wanted to.

The other chickens get to stay outside through their molt, but Coho had to come in, or she would probably die.
