There's no denying it. Those dogs are ADORABLE.

Ha ha, they certainly are! Our guys only get to 15lbs maximum as well which makes them great lap dogs, not that big guys can't be lappies as well!

Apparently, according to a buddy of mine that's a Vet, the newest designer breed is Chihuahua/Pit. He just had a chihuahua FEMALE in that was pregnant with pit pups. And ended up delivering NATURALLY! Crazy!

Funny. My most expensive pet is sitting here staring at me. A 14 year old short hair mixed cat. DH got her for me after my sheltie mix died ( at 16 yr. old ). At the time I didn't want to even try to replace that dear dog.

She cost us $25 at the shelter and that included the spay in those days.

But, she had a bladder stone when she was 4 and the bills totaled over $2,000.00. Seriously. And it almost killed us to pay it but whatchagonnado?

Now, she's senile ( I think ). But she's still here with us!

I am a dog trainer for 20 years, and the bottom line is,
breed nice dog to nice dog,, get nice dog.
I see all the designer crosses, most are not worth the money spent,, just backyard breeders with money signs in their hearts and glib voices. ( silver lab? oh my god, grew out to be a weinermier,, internet buying mistake I guess)

I have well bred shelties, from good long term breeders. Worth every penny, two dogs took me to the USDAA agilty worlds, and did outstanding, takes a top dog to do that!
I like nice cross bred dogs, but the dogs are only worth the quality of the parents, lots of shelter dogs have nasty parents,, thats why they are in shelters!!! I spend my life trying to fix it. Have fixed a few under 12 months, but not over....

Golden doodlens are the worst----- goldens on speed with long legs and hyper ball drive and horrid fur. can't brush it, can't comb it.... what ?????

designer dogs are a puppy mills dream come true......

Many standard Doodle and Golden Doodle breeders breed indiscriminately and don't understand size... i've met standard doodles who exceeded both parents in size! insane. with the standard sized doodles its VERY hard to predict size.

YOU CAN SHAVE IT and I would rather go through the trouble of shaving then having hair in my food, on my furniture, on my clothes, and everything else in my house.

Have you ever groomed a golden doodlens or whatever you called them.

Golden Doodlens? What's that? You state you're a dog trainer? Then you should know it's Goldendoodle. And some are black bc one parent is a black lab. Makes sense to me!
