Her nose blushed, if you were curious. She was very very pretty!

I don't have a problem with reputable breeders, especially those breeding the dogs that are not ending up in shelters!

Wow, it just makes my skin crawl that a vet was breeding like that...and strange the Pharaoh community didn't know about it....we are pretty on top of PH breedings. But vets can be some of the most clueless people, anyway, when it comes to breeding and nutrition, and vaccinations...but that is a discussion for another day. I have well educated friends that are vets that have studied beyond the basic vet school education and they are now more "up" on those topics.

Ok I don't get it, you folks are talking about Pharaoh Hounds like they're the God's of the doggie world... wassup with that? They're rabbit hounds. Yes, they are pretty and unique... but no better than any other I wouldn't think.

to me its one of those, difficult to describe, you gotta know em to know why those with them are obsessed...

its the same with any breed i guess, if its your heart breed...
its like my dogs, i have chinese cresteds and cant explain how amazing the breed is...those that know them jus tunderstand...
same with pharoah hounds, their is something just flat out special about them.

agreed. personally i dont have a pharoah but i love thier personalities, you can see them thinking, they are so sweet, and they blush, quite literally blush! lol

I've read that about them, when they are excited they turn reddish pink...lol
