hmmmmm... interesting. However, he's most certainly not a bantam... he's HUGE. He's a big rooster and I thought he might be some kind of Jersey Giant cross.

OEGs also come in standard but he is most defiantley neither a bantam OE or a standard OE, I believe he is a sex link roo

Hey Chickenlover54... I'm intrigued. Which sex link do you believe he is? Might be super great to know when my hatches are peeping!

I'd love to know sex without the squeeze

I don't know, he isn't a red of course and he isn't barred like the blacks but a good friend of mine has around 400 sex linked hens and the in the order she recieved of 100 blacks there were 4 that turned out to be roosters close to what you have. IDK how this happened, maybe the genetics weren't right on the hens the hatchery uses. My first impression was that he was a Denizli Longcrower, but I saw Mcmurray doesn't have them, I thought they used to though
Here are Denizlis look at the 8th pic down

they're lovey birds~ Ol' Nocrow is signifiantly broader than these guys look. Maybe these pics are from really young birds.

I believe it is because he is a hatchery bird, thats why he has wrong type

Offer:

6+ "Barnyard Surprise" Eggs

The Lone Rooster: McMurray Mystery Chick - he's a BIG BOY (shout out if you recognize the breed because I haven't figured it out yet!)

His Hens: White Plymouth Rock, White Leghorn, Buff Orphington, Welsummer, RIR, Silchen

Is this the current offer?

If so, I'll take it and offer up:

6+ eggs Barnyard Mix

Cuckoo Silkie Rooster crossed over Buff Orpington & Barred Rock hens.

I'm hatching them out as I type. They're coming out black with feathered feet.

-OR-

6+ eggs Mutt & Pure Duck eggs

I have a Pekin & Khaki Campbell drake over 2 Khaki Campbell hens, a Pekin hen and an Indian Runner hen.

So, you have a chance of getting pure Pekins, pure Khaki Campbells or mixes of the bunch. The runner crosses have been hatching out with black or spotted feet.

Blessings-
Em
