6 eggs from Tazcat go into lock down tomorrow. Mostly bantam. Also

MINE on Peggy's eggs.

Offer: a true barnyard mix (at least for now)
The crested duck is laying. Every egg but 1 that I've set is developing.
The Guinea started laying again today.
My mixed flock hens are laying. I know the Ia Blues are as well as some crossbreds. I've seen Big Comb and the Ia Blue covering. The other active roos are a Blue Wheaten cross and a Splash Silkie. Maybe some of the teenagers are too. (Splash Cochin, NN, BCM, JG)
I also have a pair of Booted Bantams in their own pen.

The offer is for 6+ I can include the duck and/or Guinea or leave them out. I have an order for Seot 6 then I can collect if anybody is interested.

Whenever works. I just paid attention to the last ones as they were getting older and l decided I needed more. As long as I know more are coming it doesn't matter when.

I have 3 out from Tonya's eggs. 2 Silkies and I think a bantam Wyandotte. A 2nd bantam Wyandotte died while zipping. Maybe the other 2 will be out in the morning.

I also penned up the Iowa Blues so these will be included in the offer. 2 weeks until they will produce pure chicks, right?

I read somewhere that it was 3 weeks

3 weeks to be 100% sure. 2 weeks is normally enough. Big time breeders use three because they need to be 100% sure on the parentage. I know when I put my ee away I wouldn't put them out there as pure until 3 weeks was up.

If it would help to move it along I can add a couple bantam cochin eggs. I can't guarantee that they are pure, 90% sure. Pullets in the pen are red, black, gold laced and self blue. Roos in red, barred, black and self blue. The two in charge are black and self blue. I think that the self blue and black are laying but there is a polish in their as well so it could be her. I plan on using coloring to find out which ones are laying. The top of the pen is open and my free range roos could possibly get in. I am checking fertility and then when my breeding book gets here will be separating. I just set 10 eggs today. The first egg I set wasn't fertile. So I make no gaurantees. My blacks are sq and seem to be having issues.

I've been watching these! Offering the Cochins did it for me. (Like I need more, haha!) MINE!

Not a clue what they are, but they lay a large cream colored egg. A lot of double yolkers too (but I won't send those!

) Fertility is great, 2 roos over 6 hens. I can't send out until Monday though....I have an order going out tomorrow or Wednesday, and I don't want to send over the weekend. Just FYI.
