i'd like to play but only have fertile duck eggs, is that allowed or is this chickens only

I am starting to get the itch to hatch again...but my girls are not laying well. Hope they pick up soon, would love to hatch some pretty Easter eggers!!! For now, i will just watch.

I am hatching now. Well not this exact moment, but I started the incubator up for the New years Day hatch.

I started it for my project eggs. The sooner I hatch them the sooner they can lay eggs, and I can get to the next phase. So I stuck some of my EE's in with them and my projects were infertile. Wouldn't ya know.

On my EE's I got rid of my Black Ameraucana and my Wellie roos, so I am curious as to what hatches over the next few weeks. The first batch I got all brown chipmunks except for one black. So I am hoping for some wild chicks!

But I kept setting eggs and I finally have some fertile projects growing!!!!!

Soon this thread will be hopping!

I think we have had duck egg offers previously. Therefore I assume it's ok. I know renegade has a bunch of stuff going on so I would guess it's up to the rest of the followers on here to chime in. I don't have a problem with an offer of duck eggs.

we are just waiting for someone to take one of the offers..post #369 or post #370.. and offer some of their own.. I offered #369 to get the chain moving 3 weeks ago.. and Heinz #370.. I am not sure about Jim.. but my mixed flock is blessing me with eggs every day.. I can send eggs.. want them?

I would love Hienz's DUCK offer with a couple EE but Cant set until the Valentines hatch is over!! But If that will work I can speak for and he wait to send will go for it and I will offer 6+ of my layer mix! I have a BLRW roo over RIR and BO.They will be good dual purpose birds and are stunning.The plus side is you can tell the roos in both by week 2! I may even be able to throw in a couple Self Blue OEGB if some one grabs my offer fast.I cannot set right now with what I have set and she is laying every other day so far! I have one from yesterday in my hatch basket!! THEY ARE SHOW QUALITY AND A HARD TO FIND COLOR! MY MOST PRIZED BIRDS!! I set her first 7 eggs and all are developing.

The duck stopped laying a week ago. The geese are laying though. The EE are now pure Blue/Black Ameraucana. I have an OE in that pen too.
So, what I can offer is:
6+ from my layer pen with a good chance of NN

Or

4 goose eggs. I have a Giant Dewlaped African and an Embden laying. The 2 breeds are together right now.

Or

A combo of OE and Ameraucanas 6+

Or

A 6+ combo of my pure breds

Or

A combo of any above

Or

If you want to wait for duck eggs I can send them when she starts laying again

If any of these options work for Dixiebeast, it is her claim, otherwise it is Shelly and me still up.

I don't see my added post so I'll post again.
I got a duck egg again today. So I can do ducks as long as she is still laying in 2 weeks so it is Dixiebeast's offer.

I offer 6+ of my Layer mix which is a BLRW roo over RIR and BO...and an added bonus of my pures self blue OEGB or Ameraucana( whichever I have when offer is accepted!)

ETA: I obviously changed my offer some what as far as the OEGB...Since I have a couple I cannot set and more coming I am going to try the auction out so I know they do not go to waste...I cannot bear to eat them and I plan on selling hatching eggs...If some one takes my offer and would rather them as a bonus they may have to wait a couple days for shipping is all..
