Designer egg. Why?

This egg was laid yesterday by one of my Cuckoo Maran hens. I have had miss shapened shells before. But none with an actual uniformed design. What causes this? It looks like an exact sun.

Wow that's very unique. I have no idea why. We have one girl who lays what we call dinosaur eggs...but no designs. Can't wait to see what you find out.

I guessing most likely just a fluke.

I dont know but that is one cool fluke. I hope mine do funky things like that...So long as they are healthy.
