@Cinnamon11 better. Was dealing with issues still from my last post but health wise im all better. Also just had a rent inspection yesterday so that was fun. I was getting some work done on the next thing but the computer overheated and crashed and I lost the work T-T
Two incubators running in a hot room, my computer said no.

Chicken wise, splayed leg baby healed up well but is very small compared to the others. Hatched out 10/12 of the eggs the broody was on but abandoned. Sold all but 1 as of yesterday, with that last frizzle being for my mum. Mum will also be taking the splayed leg baby if its a girl so the two will be pets to keep her lonely rabbit company.

Its already heating up a lot in the office so I will wait until tonight when it cools down to try and get some art done X3

Dont mind the brick platform for feeding or the low feeder, the little monsters kept clogging their waterer and so I had to put the water and food up out of the bedding. They also go through a whole mason jar of feed a day XD
Ive got branches and perching areas set up in the cool end and a stick in the warmer end. They run around like mad men jumping all over everything. When I enter the shed they are in, they all run to the front and line up on the branch to watch me.

Smallest baby in this pic (the one "under" the eagles wing) is splayed leg baby!

^ This big boi. Biggest in the clutch, everyone hides behind him, pecks hands and stands like a roo. I think hes a boy XD

And the frizzle for mum. Mum already named it Apple (its mother is Toffee, so Toffee Apple X3)

So, once again, I am so sorry for a long absence! 2020's end and 2021's beginning were not so great. If you don't wanna read this (lol) just skip to the new art at the bottom X3

I got a really bad chest infection, had to go to hospital for that, and while I was sick I could not really do much more than make sure my chickens were fed and let out/locked up. I did not notice until too late that Crowley had an impacted crop, and he unfortunately passed. This was extremely upsetting for me. I do rely on income from selling chicks to cover the costs of keeping my chickens however, so I had to get a new rooster.

So introducing Stolas.

The silkie chicks are doing great, though I am down to 5 now. One hen and young cockerel went to a friend, one cockerel had scissor beak and was rehomed to another friend (they named him Edward Scissorbeak!). I THINK the last 5 are all girls, fingers crossed. Baby hobble is doing great, still a lot smaller than the others but finally grew a full pom pom. Besides hobble, none of the silkies are named yet, I just cant find good names that fit, are food themed, and are good in pairs.

Toffee had a prolapse and went to live with mum, so now her daughter is staying with me. Apple, despite being a week younger than the silkies, is already bigger!

Another two clutches hatched from the incubators, one of which is only a little 9 egg and it was the first time I had tried using it. 7 chicks from the big incubator, 2 from the small. These were including the last of Toffee's eggs from right before her prolapse. 4 of her eggs hatched, and 3 were frizzles. Of all the chicks that hatched, I kept the three frizzles to grow out. Well, two are boys XD The littles are named Candy Corn (the girl), Azazel (darker boy) and Luci (paint boy, he has tried to fight Stolas twice already, name is short for a name I think might upset some people so I'm not putting the full name. It upset my nan already lol)

Coriander tried to brood for another two weeks then abandoned the nest, killing a whole clutch of eggs a friend gave me (these included Belgian D'Uccle and Sebrite eggs T-T). Now Cashew has gone broody on a clutch of eggs sired by Stolas.

Other stuff both chicken and non chicken related has happened but I'll skip over that.

NEW ART! And its already up on both Teespring and Redbubble. No shirts on Redbubble though as I accidentally did the art in a size too small for Redbubble's shirts.

This is not what was next on the list, but a Valentines day design that actually got me inspired enough to get out of the art block rut. There are three different coloured versions.
