Sumi, I used a pellet gun a week or 2 ago (shooting next to the monkeys) amazing how they have learned to steer clear of our farm now. (for a while at least.)

I am gonna google coops and runs now to get some good idea's. Must be able to disassemble though.

Have you looked through the Coops section yet? There's some great designs there...
