I AGREE!!Do you have a small dog carrier or crate that can sit on top of the washer or drier? I really do think she needs warmth for a!good chance at recovery.
Iwent to "The Gathering"last night,a group of believers in Porterville who assist the communities here in California. They all know, all 46 people so far, know that my hobby is chickens and that I have the BYC as a refference. Anyway, we all prayed for your hen as part of my intercessions, WE HAVE YOUR BACK! and I pray, all will be HIS will in your hens recovery or passing.Hug them extra for me!
A video of my welcome home committee and when my girl was in better days
Happily, she is still here! I thought we were really improving on Monday, she was talking and walking and pecking and ate a good bit. But then today I can't even coax her out of the roost to put ointment on her eye. So hopefully this is just a bump in the roadHiya. Just wondering how your hen is doing?
That sounds good. So long as she's eating and drinking. I'm cautiously optimistic. Has her eye had any improvement?Happily, she is still here! I just went and checked to see if she would finally come down, and her eye is open finally. It is still incredibly red and puffy, but before it was swollen shut. I was not able to get her down, even with some tuna. I don't think she has ate or drank today. I wonder why she doesn't want to move? That sounds good. So long as she's eating and drinking.
