Hello. I am completely new to Raising Ducks & Geese. But one day decided to jump all in and buy a few.. learning that most geese are out of season, I'm looking for Embden & Toulouse. We had some ordered through out local farm store, to find out the girl forgot to put order in, now she can't cause the hatchery is out. We are very upset. So I've searched and searched hatcheries online, but there's really not that many or I'm not searching right. I live in Central Pa. I'm willing to drive reasonable distance, or pay for shipping , but anyone that has any, knows where to get, places that have them , or might not be online. Surely not every single hatchery is sold out!! :) PLEASE HELP!!

Because breeding season for most geese in Nov/Dec through about April any geese that may be available are going to range from young to young adult. You may be able to find some at local bird rescue facilities but they will probably be over a year old. If you really want goslings you may find you have to wait until the next breeding season.

I know someone who has a pair of American. And I saw a pair of Toulouse posted near me if you don't mind to drive to mid/west VA.

too late for babies... Geese lay and set in late winter , spring only... you may find some a couple months old with breeders... but it is too hot to ship legally, only spring and fall and then there is lots of cost and paperwork for breeders, often easier to find someone you can drive and meet...
