my son just did a report and he said it was nothing like the book either..

It's sad when tey change the book to make a movie. You also have to make sure that you don't buy the books that say "Now a major motion picture" on the cover. Sometimes these have been altered from the original story. I know I made my kiddo read "The City of Ember" before we went and saw it. He agreed the book version was much cooler than the movie. The rule in our house is you have to read the book before you see the movie.
