One of my hens refuses to stay in the yard. Every time I let them out to free range in the yard, she ignores the other hens and hops the fence as soon as she can. She sometimes crosses the street (I once found her eleven houses away in someone's backyard :/ ). Everyone is worried she might get hit by a car or eaten by my next-door neighbor's dogs. I have tried every kind of fence out there but she always finds a way around it (and most often... under it.) I tried locking her in the run all day while the others free-ranged but she "screamed" non-stop. Why is she doing this? Does she have a secret nest or something (I found any eggs from her in a while)? Plz help!
