Looks great, so jealous you have a walk-in coop. that's what I'm building when we move. Right now their coop was built out of a big picnic table. pretty cute and useful for a city setup. But a b!tch to clean

Yeah, i am past wanting to crawl inside to clean chicken coops! This coop will be subdivided so it will have a front door and a back door. As well as two runs.

I have not decided yet. I will build nest boxes. I usually collect outside. Trying to think what best to do with bears around.

I am going to put on a lot of log sections over the plywood so it will look like a log cabin and be much stronger. Plus the whole area is fenced and i am going to put electric fence around the perimeter to protect all the animals.
It was a big surprise when my husband suddenly saw a bear in the driveway, with a cub! The bear was so surprised, she ran off without the cub!

Yes, it was a small black bear. Only type we have in Virginia. Probably a first time mother with the single cub.
