Devastated! Warning Graphical

I agree, and am trying. It seems to get my son and I disliked even more. My water bill says we used 10, 460 gallons. We had rain storms and only us 2 here. So, city said I must have a leak. Well an 8,000 gallon leak should show its self. I think more like "we want you to move away from here".

New battery arrived for my ParMak fence charger. The battery I took out was dated 8/02, so its been awhile. I'll recondition the old battery a long with many battery backup device batteries I have. I had to fix a ground in it, but tested it and the meter showed 6,900 volts. So I told my son let's go to Tractor Supply and use the card to buy a few plastic t-post for electric fence. Looked and they only had 16 in a box on the floor. Asked assistant mgr for more, found more in back that had been their at least 2 years, boxes crushed a bit and water damaged. So, ½ off and I bought 4 boxes of 50! Thank The Lord! One step at a time. Thinking of electrified poultry net for a chicken run??

Electric wires work well too. I have a Parmak fence charger but mine is AC and nothing messing with the hot wires.

So you used the "rope" style with electric wire in it? It look as though you have chicken wire covering the top too? When my goat was attacked the dog jumped the hog panel that's 50¼" tall. I will have to use 4' No Climb horse fence and Barbed wire strands above that to 6'. Then hot wire in front and thinking of one on top for those humans and animals that climb. Today my son and I will be pulling out the t-post where the chickens were. I'll use them to support the corners (the t-post not the chickens) of the plastic t-post for fence. There are trees where the large chicken run will be. I plan on electric fence around them and let a different coop of chickens out each day to free range.

My ParMak was made in 2019, with new battery charged I just checked it with fence meter, reads 7.5 = 7,500 volts for 25 miles. I bought it in Nebraska/Colorado, maybe for the Bison up there?

Update:
1) More ducks missing
2) Chickens in the Fortress Coop are laying
3) Built 2nd coop/run frame with even worse warped wood, it had me very upset and kinda sick to my stomach looking so bad the hog panels wouldn't meet. So I bought rebar and staked it as straight as I could for this rain coming to assist. I'll need to pick axe the middle as the frame teeters end to end.
4) City water meter reader forgot to close the iron lid on meter, yes, I didn't know and mowed as I always do and "BAM". The blade is shot, the blade adapter is cracked and key is sheared. Pulled rope slowly without gas and it sounds like very bad disc brakes. Notified the same council, she said "how do you know we did it?". I haven't been doing much since I started having chest pains while mowing, so was nothing new to report here. The Go fund me my son started is starting to prosper. It is for DVR, Cameras, fencing and to pay for help doing it.Trying to find engine for 2 mowers now, checked eBay and Engine store to see if they have something I can make payments on. Well, thanks for your ear, sorry for the long yack.

I didn’t read all 23 pages of posts, so please forgive me if this has been asked and answered.

I didn’t see a lot of blood and blown feathers in the photo. Did you positively identify it as a predatory kill? Or could the flock have been poisoned?

Regardless, I wish you well in resolving the problems and rebuilding your flock.

one of the attacks we think poisoned, another attack they were a bit bloody. Another time just missing, no feathers or anything, they were Cornish hen sized RR, barred Rock, wyandotte and black copper Marans. Same with ducks.
