Thinking of farming them out. Then fence and get another Kangal that can have access to all the property.
My Bassets previous owners couldn't keep him up and gave up trying when he was 7-8 mo. old.Houdini isn't out of my sight long enough to dig a hole but he's smart .Recently he climbed up in a new flower bed I'd made then hopped over the fence connected to it.

I had to add another section of fence that blocks that area off so I still have access to the flower bed but I can't use the front gate on my chicken run or get inside the green house without hopping the fence.I have to make another gate.I'm using one of those pool ladders that you climb up one side and down the other.I straddled it over the fence so I can get in and out until I make a gate.He tries to climb the ladder.

Last time a big limb fell after a storm Houdini spotted it before I did and got out. He's only escaped twice since I made him an inside dog and that was one of them.:he

Ordered the new battery for my fence charger that does 25 miles and 1.6 joules.

Sorry I'm rambling on, it too quiet now, my son and I are very distraught. There has been a bird dog reported running loose, that's what I shot at in the goats area. Will they do this to chickens and ducks?
Bird dogs are usually trained to soft mouth retrieve, I can hardly believe that was a dog that would kill all those birds. I know minks and weasels will kill birds and leave them, and can climb well and get into very small holes.

Hmm, went out to feed and seen this.
