I thought that bald patch on his crop would fill in, but it never did.
Yeah, I figure that bald patch is just him being an oriental. I am curious to see how it translates to the Liege crosses. I am wondering if they’ll take on the full feathers of the Liege. I have speculated that the tight, patchy, feathering of orientals may be an inbred trait that quickly goes away when outcrossed to a significantly different family.My cocks always get that. He is maturing into quite a bird!
So, why would that be, is it about look or heat dissipation, since they're from arid, semi arid or tropical regions or another reason? just curiousIt is in part, but more often than not they are bred for it.
