Deworming in hens

I've used it before with not so good results due to its overuse as a miteacide in building worm resistance to the product. It is ineffective as a wormer.

This study is referring to injectable intramuscular Ivermectin. I am referring to the pour on. 6 drops on the birds skin on the neck


Six drops is how many mg's? And why would giving it topically make a difference? Not positive, but I think that study also had birds that were given ivermectin orally, but maybe not, I don't remember.

If they were mine they would get .2ml to .5ml per 2.2 pounds of body weight for five days.
