Diary & Notes ~ Air Cell Detatched SHIPPED Chicken Eggs for incubation and hatching

Ok so I start lockdown tonight for 2 eggs then the rest go into lockdown Wednesday which would be a better hatcher for the eggs I really want to hatch.....my still air 1602 or my new forced air genesis with temp control? I've heard the fan can dry out duck eggs but I've got the humidity down pretty good in both. What do u guys think? Also I keep trying to look on hatching 101 for the mix instructions for that vita stuff for a littlest dose but everytime I get to past the turning section my internet on my phone turns off. Does anyone know? All I can find is 1/4tsp per gallon can I make less?

The vita stuff I'm using is 1/10 tsp per gallon.  I'm not using a whole gallon in my waterer, so I'm using an empty distilled water jug to mix up a gallon and am filling the waterer out of that.  Hope that helps?

no biggy, we messed up and it was fixed! Have a fresh update? If you can take a few more pics of that chicks navel I may be able to help you Doug, I cant see the navel really in that one. the electrolyte recipes are in the hatching 101 article towards the bottom I had to post the Loudspeaker to get her last time lol YAY! LOL its clear? oh wow I would wait a month, honestly grown hens don't bother with a bad they just stand there even if they never had one. They are so silly when they are wet! he he he LOL hatching flying monkeys maybe??? YAY Now put your articles and threads in your siggy chicky!! I am sad...... I have to make the call tomorrow to set up processing for 4 roos, my cochin roo and 3 brahma roos its really bothering me but I need to get past this. I decided to stay inside the rest of the day as I keep finding myself watching roosters and admiring their beauty. I can get through this and move on, and perhaps next step will be raising meaties which I wish I could be doing. Did anyone ever run into a thread that will help me through this part of chicken keeping? heck I wouldn't even know what to search for. I did sit and look at images of big production plants and such, and I know how much more healthier and better doing our own meat is but still need some support here. I just don't get it, why when I get so old do I get so tender footed? Beats me :/ and I am even psyching out thinking I will be abled to tell which bird is who by size and all that, heck I may just end up sick as a dog getting meat returned.
